Dear Sirs -

        I would like to report on an object I saw flying or
floating in the air on Thursday afternoon Oct 23 in the district
west of TATE Sask.  I was working in the field at the farm at
the time and shut the tractor of to watch it. It was moving in
a north easterly direction against a north east wind. There was
no sound of a motor and the object was wingless. It was fairly
large and of aluminium colour. I would say it was at about 3000
ft but had gone past me when I saw it and would be about a couple
of miles distant maybe less. I watched it for about ten minutes.
Time about 3 PM MST. If there is a meteorological station at Dafoe.
It could have been a balloon but it was to large. A Similar object
was seen by myself and another man over Govan over a year ago
moving in a westerly direction at a much higher speed over a year
ago about twice as fast as the average plane. Knowing the above
information may be of use I remain,
